Bed Centre Grimsby Opening 15th June 2020

Following Government guidelines, as with all non-essential retail outlets we ‘The Bed Centre Grimsby’ had to close our shop on the 23rd of March due to the Corona Virus Pandemic.

After 10 weeks, the Prime Minister’s strategy to ease lockdown means all non-essential retail shops including ourselves, will be opening as per our normal working hours on Monday the 15th June.

The Prime Minister however has clearly stated that the only feasible long-term solution to end the corona virus pandemic would be the creation of an effective vaccine or treatment.

So our priority will be to protect our Customers and Staff at all times.

‘STAY ALERT, CONTROL THE VIRUS, SAVE LIVES’

We would therefore ask that you do not come to the shop, if you have any of the COVID 19 symptoms:

  • high temperature or fever
  • if you have a sore throat or continuous cough
  • if you have lost the sense of smell and taste sensation

Helping the Elderly and Vulnerable

To enable us to look after the elderly and the vulnerable and to ensure they have a pleasurable and safe experience, we will be open on an appointment basis only between 1700 hrs – 1800 hrs Monday to Friday where there will be only one(1) customer (including partner and if applicable carers) allowed in the shop at any one time.  (This would be on an appointment basis only – to book an appointment please call us on 01472 267660).

All of our experienced Sales staff will be wearing face masks.

On entering and leaving the shop, all customers and staff will be asked to use the available hand cleansing gel.

All customers will be asked to follow the 2m Social Distancing Rule inside the shop.

For the protection of our customers when trying out mattresses there will be a clean sterilised mattress protector for them to use . One (1) per customer, these will be sterilised and cleaned on a daily basis.

All door handles and card payment machines will be cleaned with disinfectant spray after use, by our staff.

What if I ordered a bed/mattress before lockdown

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused our customers. We will be contacting all of those customers who had placed orders with a new delivery date as soon as possible.
